Happy Thursday! ░░▓ Thu (3/28) Class Agenda ▓░░ 1. Discussed Cause and Effect └ The class used game rules to show examples of cause and effect. (e.g. In Hide and Seek, the seeker needs to close their eyes and count while the others hide. If the seeker didn't close their eyes, the seeker would always win) ░░▓ Homework ▓░░ ♦ Complete Workbook p. 6–8 (Due: Tue 4/02) ♦ Complete Step 1&2 of "Because of..." (Due: Tue 4/02) └ IMPORTANT: You do not need to do the ENTIRE page for homework; just do Steps 1 & 2. └ For Step 1, think of a rule you want to pass. Draw a picture of that rule and use the lines to write down why you want to make this a rule. └ For Step 2, what happens to the people or the world because of this rule? The effect is up to you, but make it realistic. ♦ Study for the vocabulary quiz! └ Vocabulary words: amendments, commitment, compromise, version, eventually, legislation, privilege, democracy └ For four vocabulary words, you will write your own sentences with context clues. └ For the other four vocabulary words, there will be a paragraph where you fill in the blanks.
