Happy Wednesday! ░░▓ Wed (3/27) Class Agenda ▓░░ 1. Discussed characterization └ The class learned about character traits and how those could influence a character's actions. (Dory from Finding Nemo is forgetful, so she doesn't remember her family. Spiderman is smart, so he created a web fluid.) 2. Started "Create a Character" └ Each student was asked to make a realistic character with traits. They also write down their character's likes and dislikes. ░░▓ Homework ▓░░ ♦ Complete workbook p. 7–9 (Due: Mon 4/01) ♦ Complete "Create a Character" (Due: Mon 4/01) └ IMPORTANT: Bring this page on Monday, as we will use your character for another activity. └ A file of the "Create a Character" page has been attached to this post if you lost the page I gave you in class. ♦ Study for the vocabulary test! └ Vocabulary words: educated, inspired, ached, discovery, satisfied, concentrate, improved, effort └ For four vocabulary words, you will write your own sentences. └ For the other four vocabulary words, there will be a paragraph where you fill in the blanks. That is all. ^^
