Hello everyone. Today in class: 6-1: Students used their Whalebooks to continue doing research about their chosen folktale. After we checked it, they started writing their rough drafts of their essays. 6-2, 6-3: Students were introduced to the next writing assignment, folktale summary. We discussed the outline of the assignment, and the format of the essay they have to write. Then students used their Whalebooks to research folktales and chose one to write about. They read the stories online and summarized them in five sentences. Homework: There is no homework today. Have a great afternoon!
