(6-1) Today: Draft model - We spoke about different forms of descriptive languge (adjectives, adverbs, simile, metaphor, personification and idioms) - We practiced using some of the these forms of descrtiptive language by creating sentences. - Finally, you rewrote a draft conclusion by adding more details to your using the questions in the workbook to guide you. Homework: There is no new homework today - Do not forget, you need to complete page 28 in your workbook - Do not forget to read your section of the anthology text and write the summaries on page 32 of your workbook. (6-2) Today: Listening comprehension - we reviewed historical fiction and vocbulary - we spoke about points of view and how to identify them - we listened to the text Yaskul's mighty trade and cited evidence that proved the point of view of the story. Homework: Anthology and Summary - Person A: 130 -137 - Person B: 138- 145 - You need to read your section of the story - the anthology text is on google classroom (Also there is a list of your partners and who will read each part) - After each two pages you need to write a summary of what happened (page 32) (6-4) Today: Reading Comprehension - we reviewed historical fiction and points of view - we learned some of the difficult vocabulary words for the reading comprehension - we read the teaxt as a class Homework: Anthology and Summary - Person A: 130 -137 - Person B: 138- 145 - You need to read your section of the story - the anthology text is on google classroom - After each two pages you need to write a summary of what happened (page 32) Workbook pages -You need to complete page 28 in your workbook - Remember the three points of view: 1st (I) 2nd (you) 3rd (he, she, they) I hope you all have an amazing trip to Jeju! |
