1. Genre Talk: Realistic Fiction 2. Pair Reading: Workbook Text p.27 3. Sequence the Story: Workbook p.28 HOMEWORK: 1. WORKBOOK p.30 *We will have a vocabulary quiz next class, so make sure you know and understand all vocabulary words and their meanings.* 2. *For those who did not submit.* WRITING ASSIGNMENT: Story Map & 1st Draft (plastic file #5) Task: Write a realistic fiction story in which a teacher gave special homework to the students. You can use the Wonders story "Starry Night" as an inspiration. *You can write only key words in the story map, but you should develop your ideas into 4 complete paragraphs (event 1, 2, 3 & conclusion) in your 1st draft. Try to include dialogue in your story.* *If you lost the writing template, print out the attached PDF to complete your homework.* REMINDER: Always bring your workbook and pencil case to class.
