WHAT WE DID TODAY: 1: Grammar Mini-Lesson: Adjectives That Compare 2. Grammar Practice: Workbook p.29-30 3. Grammar Review: Comparative Game TODAY'S HOMEWORK 1. Workbook p.31 Recap: Comparative adjectives (an adjective that compares 2 nouns) = adj.+ er than Example: A tiger is bigger than a cat. Superlative adjectives (an adjective that compares more than 2 nouns) = the adj. +est Example: My father is the tallest in my family. Make sure you understand this grammar concept because we will have a quiz next week. 2. Some of you still didn't finish the 2nd draft of the animal research report. (Plastic file #4) You have to complete it until Monday. Instructions: 1. Write at least 3 sentences for each section. 2. Make sure to give enough details to explain the animal's habitat, predators, diet and fun facts. (Your 1st draft can help you as it contains key information -> Plastic file #3 3. Draw an ostrich (make sure to decide if it's a male or female because they are different colors.) *If you lost your worksheet, print out the attached file.* Reminder Don't forget, you should always bring your workbook and pencil case to class. **We will have a class on Monday, so make sure to bring your material to school.* Ms. Vicky
